Tyger Tyger Issue 10 – Surprise, December 2025

Welcome to the tenth issue of Tyger Tyger Magazine, the Surprise edition!
This tenth issue is a surprise box of treats, full of twists and turns, surprised giggles, and wonder-filled amazement. Be examined by someone with an unusual superpower, then meet a literary spider and a cosseted bear. Listen in to the universe, discover the wonder of the axolotl, and watch a big sibling have their mind changed by a little one. Meet a mum with a super-skill, learn all the reasons you really should keep that cat in the bag, and follow the royal saga of the chocolate eclair. Release the cutlery from its boring old drawer, and pause to take in the sensory wonder of a mighty ship. Get more than you bargained for when birdwatching for puffins, meet a determined chicken and find out why it is tapping so insistently at the door, and really look at a dandelion. Finally, explore the scattered surprise gifts of the sea, and then experience the spell cast by bright birds appearing through the fog.
Each poem is available as a free poem-poster to download, print and display, and there are free lesson plans exploring ‘My Superpower’ by Carole Bromley and ‘An unusual superpower’ by Vaishnavi Pusapati, ‘There’s a Chicken at My Door’ by Gaynor Andrews, and ‘Dandelion’ by Gita Ralleigh.
